Straworks is one of Canada’s few established straw bale building companies. We are located in Peterborough, ON, and build all over the province and occasionally in Quebec, Nova Scotia and Mohawk Territory too. At our core we are a design-build business that offers residential design, construction drawings, our own engineered wall system, carpentry, bale work, plastering, consulting and project management to ensure your home is designed and built the way you want it done. We take pride in our work and have fun doing it, because when built properly, straw works.

In 2011, Straworks celebrated six years in business by incorporating. Over the years we've built-up a portfolio of one of a kind projects that start with good design and finish on good terms with our clients. You can look at these projects on the Gallery 2004 - 2010 page.
