House, Caledonia, NS. This house used to be a church. It's timber frame, built in the 1880s, was purchased by
Jon and Amanda and raised on a foundation they had built. Straw bale walls were then wrapped around the frame and plastered
using local clay. Deirdre travelled to Nova Scotia twice to work on this project, first in '06 to do bale carpentry and again
in '07 for over a month to be part of the earthen plastering crew.
